What is Heritage Preservation?
Heritage preservation is the practice of protecting and saving physical and intangible assets of cultural or historical significance. These assets, known as heritage, represent the story, identity, and collective memory of a community, nation, or people. It encompasses tangible elements like historic buildings, archaeological sites, artworks, and artifacts, as well as intangible elements such as traditions, folklore, languages, music, and craftsmanship.
